This College offers two additional sites: Ontario, California and Victorville, California, and is approved by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary and Vocational Education. The Phlebotomy program is offered during the day, evening as well as Saturday classes for the student’s convenience. The program is State approved and offers students 48 hours of lecture as well as 40 hours of externship / practical experience. Students will be required to complete 50 draws, 10 capillary punctures and observe 2 arterial punctures. The program instructs students on laboratory safety and equipment, blood collection techniques, legal issues and complications, as well as become familiar with record keeping and necessary paperwork. After successfully completing the program, students will be eligible for the National written examination given at the local campuses, and will meet the State requirements to become Certified Phlebotomy Technician I.
